Exporting Info from a Read-Only Database
Create a new database on your disk called "Ken's Paints"
Open the database file "Ken's Paints" from the network directory (either w: or g:)
Notice the table called "Inventory"; highlight it
Right-click the mouse button and choose "Save As/Export"
Choose "To an External File or Database"
Choose "Ken's Paints" on drive a: ( or d:) and click "Export"
Close Access
You have now created "Ken's Paints" on your disk (on it you can now create new tables)
from "Ken's Paints" on the network, which is read-only.
