·        Using Netscape Navigator, go to http://quote.yahoo.com/a0?u

·        Create a database called “Volume Leaders”  and enter the symbol, name, and volume for the companies shown into a table; call the table “Most Active Stocks for October 23”

·        Create a query based on your table that shows all the information for companies whose names start with either a “C” or an “M”

·        Create a query based on your table that shows all the information for companies whose volumes were greater than 17 million shares.

·        Create a mail-merge document using your table with the following format:

INSERT DATE

<Name>

     Public Relations Department

Dear Sirs:

     My name is INSERT YOUR NAME, and I was very impressed with the performance of <Name>’s stock for INSERT DATE. According to Yahoo! Finance, it reached a volume of <Volume> shares.

     I am very interested in perhaps expanding my portfolio to include your company <Name>. Please send me information pertinent to this matter.
